Description: Pair of thread sewn leather moccasins. Vamp seam decorated with reverse ribbon applique in geometric patterns. Predominant colors are reds, purple, blue, white, pink, and yellow. Interior outlined with purple silk feather stitch. Vamp seam edged with green yarn. Leather thong tie closure. Cuff has pinked edges. Accompanying slip reads: "Presented to Mrs. Evangeline Whipple by Mrs. Esther Hart, visit to Birch Coulee, Oct. 1908".
