This dress was on display in 2013 the Gale Family Library lobby as a complement to the History Center's Minnesota and the Civil War exhibit. It was also featured at a member event in 2013. It has since been returned to storage. The dress was photographed before it was fully dressed with an 1860s hoop skirt and was not re-photographed while fully dressed; this is an unfortunate oversight, but the fabric is quite fragile so we do not intend to dress it again until it is needed for display.
