Description: BIOGRAPHICAL INFORMATION: Hansen is a native of South Saint Paul. He graduated from the American Aeronautics Institute in St. Paul in 1944 and went on to serve as a U.S. Navy flight engineer during World War II. Hansen entered the insurance business and operated his own agency until 1968. He went on to serve in a number of governmental positions, most recently as the executive director of the Legislative Commission on Minnesota Resources. SUBJECTS DISCUSSED: Background.
