Valentine's Day card
Description Framed valentine on lined note paper. Hand-painted flowers decorate the paper's four corners and form a wreath around a four-line poem, which reads, "My love fond love a chaplet weaves / Of fresh young buds and verdent [sic] leaves / And still in fancy I can twine / Sweet flowers for my valentine." The writer signs his name "Old Abe" and dates the card February 14, 1861.
