Description: A Dakota hanging picture frame made of decorated leather, probably made for the commercial market, circa 1900. The frame was purchased at either the Lower Brule Agency or Crow Creek Agency in South Dakota. It is edged with white beadwork, has a dyed red quillwork hanger, and features quillwork designs in red, green and purple.
