Dakota quillwork garter

| Description | Leather garter or knee band has hide thongs ties and dyed bright orange, yellow, purple and vivid purplish red quillwork decoration. The lower edge has rawhide thong fringe that is wrapped with dyed red quillwork; the end of each strand terminates in a metal cone with dyed red eagle feathers projecting from the larger end. The garter is from Mandan, North Dakota. |
