| Description | Silk United States flag made by ladies in the Minneapolis and St. Paul area and given to the 2nd U.S. Sharpshooters, Company A (otherwise known as the 1st Company, Minnesota Sharpshooters), for use during the Civil War. At the end of the war the flag was held by the Company's Captain, Owen Evans of Bethel, Minnesota. Captain Evans's daughter Adeline later donated the flag. |
