Description: United States Army cavalry enlisted soldier's cylindrical leather valise. It has two flaps, three buckles, and a brass disc on each end. The saddle case was used during the US-Dakota War by First Sergeant George W. Northrup, who served with Brackett's Battalion of Minnesota Cavalry.
