Description: A Dakota paper knife carved from red pipestone, circa the late 19th or early 20th century. The knife is broken into three sections and is lightly incised with floral motifs on the front and back. A paper label affixed to the handle reads, "CHAS. H. BENNETT, Pharmacist / Bennett Bldg., Pipestone, Minn. / PAPER KNIFE / made from pipestone Dakota Indians".
