Description Four pieces of paper currency issued by the City of Albany, New York. Denominations of five (5) cents. Each bill reads, in part, "The City of Albany / Will pay the Bearer on demand / FIVE CENTS / In Current Bank Bills / when presented in sums of Five Dollars / at the Chamberlain's Office." All bills are undersigned by the City's chamberlain and mayor. Printed by the Murray & Co. Exchange, of Albany, New York.
