Description: A Dakota male doll made for "Bloom Bro. Co. Quality Line Souvenirs, Minneapolis, MN" by the Bluecloud family from the Upper Sioux Indian Community in Granite Falls, Minnesota, circa the early 20th century. The doll wears a red wool flannel shirt beaded at neck with turquoise, silver, and orange beads, a blue wool flannel belt with white, yellow, blue, and black beads, and grey wool flannel trousers with yarn and beaded orange and red trim at outside seam. His black yarn hair is in two braids tied with red wool yarn. The doll has stitched and beaded facial features and a sculpted nose. He wears a grey wool headband beaded in white, orange, and blue as well as brown flannel moccasins decorated with white stitching and a beaded floral design.
