American Indian headdress

| Description | American Indian headdress, reportedly Dakota, with a beaded cloth headband with cloth trailers and thirty-four eagle feathers tipped with red and white feathers. The headband features glass seed beads, predominantly white with pink, blue, green, and orange. A red and white trailer extends from the round ends of the headband, over each ear. A purple cloth band extends from the headband around the circumference of the cap. The eagle feather quills are wrapped in red wool cloth. Circa 1920. |
