Description: United States Army officer's red knit silk sash. The sash is missing one tassel; the remaining tassel consists of a wood form covered with braided silk cord with suspended silk cord fringe. The sash was worn during the Civil War by Lieutenant Colonel Calvin S. Uline of the 2nd Minnesota Infantry Regiment.
