Description: Uniform cap for the United States Army Reserve Officers' Training Corps (R.O.T.C.) is made of olive green wool stretched across a frame. The interior is lined with brown woven cotton. The exterior has a wide gold braid band. The front has a thin leather strap attached with two buttons. The leather sweatband is inked "C.A. Lindbergh" and features a tag marked "7 1/4 full". See also R.O.T.C. uniform coat, ID Number 1982.59.41. Cap was worn by Charles A. Lindbergh, Jr., and came from the Detroit, Michigan, home of his mother, Evangeline Land Lindbergh.
