Titles: Woman's silk brocade bodice (Supplied title)
Description: Supplemental weft weave silk bodice is fully lined in black satin. The black satin front and sleeves are brocaded in a pink lily pattern with green long stem foliage. The leg-of-mutton sleeves have full sleeve caps which taper to the hem and fasten with two hooks and eyes. The fitted bodice back is solid black satin with a center seam and shaped side pieces. The high standing collar is made of pink velvet with an overlay of striped black chiffon. The collar fastens in back with three hools and eyes covered with a satin bow. The bodice front has inserts of yellowish pink silk and black chiffon, which each fasten in front with sets of hooks and eyes. The bodice is constructed with thirteen vertical stays and bust pads. The black grosgrain ribbon inner waistband is embroidered with the maker's label. The exterior waistband is pleated black satin ribbon with a bow at the center back. Made by Ephemia Dunn (Mrs. George F.) Hall, a Saint Paul, Minn., dressmaker.
