Dakota carved horn quillwork spoon
Description A Dakota horn spoon, circa the 20th or 19th century. It is marked "South Dakota Sioux Indian Horn Spoon. From Rosebud Reservation. Best Love: From Bea". The spoon features a wide scopp with a short handle covered by a fringed leather sheath that has been ornamented with porcupine quilling.
