Description: United States Army issue Women's Army Auxiliary Corps (W.A.A.C.) uniform underpants are made of light to medium yellow brown [these are National Bureau of Standards colors] knitted rayon jersey. The loose-fit underpants have an elastic waistband and are cut full over the hips, having wide, loose leg openings with an inset for the crotch. See matching slip, ID Number 1987.106.4. and uniform, ID Number 1987.106.1 A-E. They belonged to Lieutenant Emily Schmid Larkin of Saint Paul, Minnesota.
