Description St. Paul Winter Carnival coin. Coins, also known as throws and tokens, are tossed to the crowd during Winter Carnival parades. The text on the front reads, "GREETINGS FROM THE MERMAID SUPPER CLUB / Wrapped Up / In Winter". The back features Ice King Boreas' crown. The back reads, "1983 SAINT PAUL WINTER CARNIVAL / BOREAS REX XLVII / [signature of Charles L. Hall] / CHARLES L. HALL". Manufacturer unknown, 1983.
