Description: United States Army mounted infantry officer's wool flannel shell jacket. It was worn by Lieutenant George Calladine of the 65th Illinois Volunteer Infantry while standing honor guard at the bier of Abraham Lincoln. The jacket has 1st Lieutenant's shoulder straps and gilded brass "eagle-I" buttons.
