This version of the figure is wearing a blue sweatshirt with Champlin Park High School (where Ventura had served as a volunteer conditioning coach) and Zubaz logos, as well as white, blue, and grey Zubaz-style athletic pants, and white high-top sneakers. Text on the blue box describes Ventura's surprise victory in the gubernatorial election, the "Ventura for Minnesota, Inc." organization that supports charity work in Minnesota, and Jesse's various professions, including governor, Navy Seal, and volunteer football coach. Each profession is represented by a separate doll; this doll is the coach version.

• Ventura's 1998 campaign for Governor as a third party candidate for the Reform Party resulted in a political upset when he bested his Republican and Democratic-Farmer-Labor Party challengers. The candidate's low-budget campaign included a series of TV ads designed by Bill Hillsman, which featured a Jesse Ventura action figure wearing a suit and led to public demand for the toy. After his election, Ventura formed a charitable organization, Ventura for Minnesota, Inc., to manufacture multiple action figures and other merchandise, donating all proceeds from sales to Minnesota-based charities.
