Titles German Imperial Army matchbox holders
Description Two brass matchbox holders with sliding cardboard compartments. The cover of each has the applied insignia of Imperial Germany including the inscription "GOTT MIT UNS" (God with us). These military souvenirs were collected by a Sergeant with the 45th Engineers serving in France during World War I.
