| Description | BIOGRAPHICAL INFORMATION: Angelita Reyes Martinez was born Sept. 27, 1927, in Waterloo, Iowa. She moved to St. Clair, Minnesota, with her parents in 1930 and moved to Minneapolis in 1934. She married Ramon Martinez in 1946. At the time of the interview she had three grandchildren, Ramona, Vicente and Georgie Ann. SUBJECTS DISCUSSED: Family history; education; visits to Mexico; founding of the Twin Cities chapters of the League of United Latin American Citizens; Mexican customs and holidays; and the meaning of being a real Mexicana.
