Description: Large round ceramic cooking vessel; a complete St. Croix stamped ceramic example. 5 1/2 gallon capacity. The exterior surfaces are punctated and cordmarked (with the impression of a finger-woven textile bag and decoration at shoulder, neck and lip) and the temper is grit. Carbon residue on vessel interior contains evidence of wild rice.Jar
