Dakota pipestone horseshoe paperweight

Description A Dakota horseshoe paperweight carved from red pipestone, circa the late 19th or early 20th century. The horseshoe has lightly incised decorations on one side, and more deeply realistic carvings on the other. See PUID# 2871.E302.2 for a similar object that appears to be by the same maker.
