Description: "Bumbrby" hat designed by Betty Comer of Washington, D.C. and purchased at the 1992 Juneteenth celebration in Minneapolis, Minnesota. The hat is made of African glazed cotton fabric stretched along a wire to form a wide, sweeping brim. The cotton is printed with representations of a crown, dove, lamb, spear, and open book.
