Description: Olive green metal trunk is marked "Johnny Buskowiak / Co. 713" in silver paint on the lid and has brass plated hardware. Maker's label is marked "LUGGAGE MFGRS / WAHL TRUNK CO. / EAU CLAIRE, WIS". Inside are two photographs of donor R. John Buskowiak in the Civilian Conservation Corps, a blue felt pennant with the C.C.C. logo, a colored photographic reproduction of actress/singer Deanna Durbin, a postcard printed "Fishing is Good Here", and a "C.C.C. Unit Certificate" awarded to "Rafael Buskowiak" for orientation completion. Broken luggage handle is also inside trunk. Used by donor while in United States Civilian Conservation Corps. at Lake City, Minnesota, and Plainview, Minnesota, between 1938 and 1940.
