BIOGRAPHICAL INFORMATION: Father Vincent Schwahn began his AIDS activities in Mexico and served as coordinator of the Minnesota Episcopal Diocese AIDS ministry from 1991 to 1993. SUBJECTS DISCUSSED: He discusses the role organized religion can play in the epidemic, the role his personal faith has played in his work, and the way people respond to enormous and multiple losses. A gay man, Schwahn also discusses homosexuality in the Catholic and Episcopal churches.
