Description: United States Army master sergeant's "Eisenhower" field jacket is made of grayish olive [this is a National Bureau of Standards color] wool. It is waist length with a notched lapel collar, two box-pleated flap-type patch pockets at the breast, concealed buttons at the front opening, two interior breast pockets, shoulder straps, an applied waistband, and applied cuffs. It is lined with olive brown [non-N.B.S.] rayon. Buttons are grayish olive plastic. A cloth label on the inner right pocket is marked "JACKETS, FIELD WOOL / O.D., OFFICER'S / CODE No. 720 /... / Dated April 21, 1945 /...". Insignia includes a silver colored convex "U.S." disc on the right collar point, a similar crossed rifles (infantry) disc on the left collar point, a 5th Army patch on the left sleeve shoulder, a 6th Division patch on the right sleeve shoulder, chevrons for the rank of master sergeant on each sleeve above the elbow, four enlistment stripes above the left cuff, and three overseas duty stripes above the right cuff. Pinned above the left breast pocket are ribbon bars for the Congressional Medal of Honor, Bronze Star, Purple Heart (with one oak leaf cluster), Army Good Conduct, American Defense Service, American Campaign, Asiatic-Pacific Campaign (with two battle stars and a spearhead), National Defense Service, Phillipine Liberation, and World War II Victory medals. Above the right breast pocket is a ribbon bar for the Presidential Unit Citation. The left breast pocket has a ribbon bar for the Philippine Republic Citation. Worn by Donald E.
