Description: United States Army soldier's mirror (A) and case (B). The mirror is a rectangular chrome plated metal sheet that is pierced at one end. It is stamped "CONSOLIDATED/ MFG. CO. DAYTON, O./ U.S. ARMY". The drab cotton case has a snap closure flap and is stenciled with a crossed rifles insignia with a "31" in their upper angle and an "E / S" in the lower. The set was used by Ernest Shiffer of the Minnesota National Guard 151st Artillery.
