Hair ornament

Description Twelve nickel silver hair ornaments sewn to a narrow strip of hide with a long tassel at the top. Two metal ornaments are flat crescent shapes, eight are round flat disks, and two are rectangular oval discs. The tassel consists of a cluster of black feathers and three long braided rawhide strands with wrapped metal strips and dyed red fringed ends. Previously attributed at Ojibwe but is stylistically a Southern Plains tribe.
