Description Furlough granting Private Aaron M. Burdick of the 5th Wisconsin Regiment leave to go to Albany, Wisconsin, 6 July -10 July, 1861. The furlough was found in a Bible (see ID Number 75.87.67) on an unidentified battlefield during the Civil War.
