Titles: Soldier's bible (Supplied title)
Description: New Testament Bible published by the American Bible Society in 1861 and recovered from a Civil War battlefield by Willoby Vaughn. An inscription on the first page reads, "Arron M. Burdick, 5th Reg't. Wisc. Vols. Enrolled 22nd of May, 1861. Discharged the 5th day of Sept. 1862, by reason of Surgeon's Certificate."
