Titles: Dakota beaded rawhide doll (Supplied title)
Description: Dakota untanned leather doll with beaded trim, stuffed with cloth. The doll has blue and white beads for eyes and a green, blue, white, and red beaded belt tied at the waist. It features three rows of blue and orange beads across the shoulders, front and back, as well as at the hem, above the leather fringe. Beaded leggings are tied down the front with leather string and the moccasins feature light blue, blue and orange beads. The doll was picked up by Willoby Vaughn after a battle during the U.S.-Dakota War of 1862.
