Description The hood portion of a Dakota cradle cover (the bottom portion is missing), circa 1890. The hood is made of buckskin and decorated with horizontal, equally-spaced quillwork lines punctuated by dyed feathers. A fringed quillwork panel decorates the hood's top; its bottom edge is beaded.
