Description: A brass pocket-watch case, probably silver-plated. The movement and crystal are missing. The back is covered with a piece of tortoise shell which is secured by rivets and was manufactured between 1870 and 1894. The watch is a souvenir of the Hinckley Fire of 1894, which burned over 200,000 acres and killed over 400 people in Pine County, Minnesota.
