| Description | Fragments retrieved from the Civil War battlefield at Gettysburg, Pennsylvania, in 1863 and mounted together. The fragments include a small block of finished wood, an artillery shell fragment, a section of bayonet and two Minié bullets. A faded portrait is affixed to the top of the block. A paper label on the back of the wood block reads: "WOOD from Culp's Hill. / Bayonet from Sherfy's. / Shell from Round-Top. / Union and Confederate Bullets." |
