It reads, in part, "The / CORPORATION OF THE VILLAGE OF / SANDY HILL / Will pay the bearer on demand / TEN CENTS, / In Current Bank Bills / when presented in sums of Five Dollars / at the BANK OF FORT EDWARD." Undersigned by the clerk, treasurer and president of the bank.
