Titles: Northwest fur trade flintlock musket (Supplied title)

Description: Flintlock musket of the type used in the Northwest fur trade. The shortened barrel has a non-original rear sight made by a chisel and stamped with a tombstone fox and "E.B.". The musket has a brass dragon side plate but the original brass tack decoration has been removed from the stock. The butt stock is damaged, perhaps by a bullet, and the butt plate is missing. Brass ramrod guides are present but the ramrod is missing. Made by Barnett in London, England.
