Description: Oval brooch carved from a piece of the Charter Oak. The high relief, carved image is of a branch with two leaves and two flower buds of acorns, one of which is inverted. The carved piece is bezel set in a gold bezel with twisted wire detailing fused around the outside. The reverse exposes the underside of the wood piece with is carved in low relief with the words "Mary Lee from Towny." Hinged bar pin with "C" clasp closure.
