Description: White cotton dress worn by Emma Viola Brownson Brock of Hastings, Minnesota during the 1860s. The dress is decorated with a machine-embroidered pattern of purple leaves. The full skirt and bodice are gathered at the waistband. The bodice has a round neckline and back tie closure at the neck and waistband. The full sleeves are string-gathered at their edges.
