In the late 1950s she founded the Ballet Folklorico Guadalupano, which strives to preserve the regional dances of Mexico. SUBJECTS DISCUSSED: Ballet Folklorico Guadalupano; childhood life in the West Side community, including early childhood experiences in dancing; regional Mexican dances, costumes and music.
