Blackfoot beaded moccasins

| Description | Pair of sinew-sewn leather moccasins with rawhide sole made by Blackfoot Indians (either Sihásapa Lakota or Siksika Niitsitapi). Decorated with glass seed beads in geometric motif. Predominant colors are white, blue, rose, and yellow. Traces of yellow pigment on leather upper in both moccasins. Tie closure with leather thong. |
