Description Seventh Issue Confederate paper note issued in Richmond, Virginia on February 17, 1864. Denomination of ten (10) dollars. It reads, in part, "THE CONFEDERATE STATES OF AMERICA / Will pay TEN DOLLARS to Bearer" Undersigned for the register and the treasurer. The back of the bill has the poem "THE CONFEDERATE NOTE" printed over it.
