Confederate States of America currency
Seventh Issue Confederate paper note issued in Richmond, Virginia on February 17, 1864. Denomination of ten (10) dollars. It reads, in part, "THE CONFEDERATE STATES OF AMERICA / Will pay TEN DOLLARS to Bearer" Undersigned for the register and the treasurer. The back of the bill has the poem "THE CONFEDERATE NOTE" printed over it.
