Description Porcelain dish and matching cover reportedly used, along with a platter and ladle, to serve soup to Confederate soldiers during the Civil War. Both the dish and its cover bear the trademark, "Royal Patent Ironstone, Arthur J. Wilkinson, Late R. Alcock. Burslem, England."
