Description Porcelain dish and matching cover reportedly used, along with a platter and ladle, to serve soup to Confederate soldiers during the Civil War. Both the dish and its cover bear the trademark, "Royal Patent Ironstone, Arthur J. Wilkinson, Late R. Alcock. Burslem, England." For other pieces from set, see ID Numbers 9512.1 and 9512.3.
