Description: Prosthetic leg made in Minneapolis, Minnesota, and used by Frank McElroy Bemis of Saint Cloud, who lost his leg through complications from polio at age three. This artificial limb was made for him when he was about 15 so that he could attend high school at Saint Thomas Academy, circa 1913.
