Titles: Die-stamped copper gunpowder flask (Supplied title)
Description: Die-stamped copper powder flask with externally-sprung, screw-on common top. The body is bag-shaped, elliptical in cross section, and stamped front and back with a stylized shell design and foliage at the neck. The original yellowish green wool suspension cord is attached at three iron split rings (the fourth is missing). A charger can be set to deliver "4", "3 1/2", "3 1/4" or "3" drams of powder. The flask's body still has most of its original grayish brown finish. The charger is stamped with the aforementioned graduated markings and "AM. FLASK & CAP CO."
