Description: This dance apron or breech cloth was owned and worn by George Peake, also known as Little Moose, an Ojibwe dramatic reader and story teller from the White Earth Nation. Polychrome floral bead work on black velvet, edges bound with red cloth tape, backed with black silk fabric. Lower edges with buckskin fringe. this apron forms part of a costume with the vest, 1995.95.1.1. Possibly made by Nora Reedfield, Mankato, MN.
