Description A Plains, possibly Dakota, leather tobacco pouch has twenty-three leather thong fringes on the bottom that are wrapped with dyed orange and purple quillwork, circa 1900. United States flags are a motif incorporated into the beadwork that solidly covers one side of the pouch. The other side is solidly beaded with a geometric pattern. The pouch is from South Dakota and retains the original $5.00 price tag.
