Dakota awl case

| Description | Conical buckskin case used to carry an awl. The case, and a long flap attached to its opening, are completely covered in beadwork. Tassels bound in quillwork and terminating in tinkler cones emanate from both the bottom of the case and the bottom of the flap. The tinkler cones cover dyed horsehair bundles. |
