| Description | Ornamental wood hairpin shaped like a stiletto is tapered overall and has a pointed end. Its length is wrapped with dyed quills firmly woven into repeating symmetrical crosses and checker patterns. A 12 inch long lock of dark hair, possibly horse, is wrapped with sinew to the blunt end of the pin. |
